EUREKA Grants
The Office of Innovation and Research (OIR) stimulates, facilitates, and coordinates research, innovation, and continual improvement initiatives. To encourage and support these initiatives, OIR offers seed grants to faculty, students, and staff who wish to pursue activities involving innovative research and educational initiatives in further building Olin as an innovative community. Novel approaches with “reasonable risk” and promise of new capabilities are encouraged.
At least 30% of available funds will be reserved as “Eureka Grants” to support inspiring ideas throughout the year. Applications are accepted at anytime. The availability of funding varies from year to year and therefore proposals should be submitted as early as possible. The funding cycle of an accepted project begins when the budget is approved and ends on June 30th. For more information or questions, please contact OIR.
