About Assesment / Improvement

Institutional Research and Improvement at Olin collaborates with members of the Olin community to improve every aspect of work at Olin. We provide, coordinate, and interpret information used to support planning, evaluation and improvement. Accreditation, academic assessments, institutional assessments, process improvement strategies, and the collection, reporting, and use of Olin and comparative data are some of our key services.

We’re prepared to help members of the Olin community with any assessment, evaluation, planning or improvement projects. We provide software and tools for data collection and analysis. We can provide information on designing assessments, create surveys for you, or help to review those that you have created. We can help you find data about Olin, comparative data, and broad planning information for grant proposals, planning or presentations.

Ann Schaffner coordinates institutional research and improvement activities, but the OIR staff work as a team.
