NEASC Accreditation
In December 2006, Olin received accreditation by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, our regional accreditation body. This accreditation was effective as of April 12, 2006 and thus covers Olin's 2006 graduates.
NEASC accreditation examines the entire institution to ensure that the institution has the resources and infrastructure to meet its educational mission. The NEASC standards cover finance, student learning, student life, campus facilities, governance, etc.
- Go to BlackBoard (Olin community only) for a copy of the Olin Self Study from Candidacy and the full review. Go to Community, click on the Events/Initiatives Bar, then NEASC Accreditation.
- See the Resources sidebar for important dates in the NEASC accreditation process.
- NEASC currently has eleven standards for accreditation of institutions of higher education.
